“The greatest significance of Diwali is to light up new, bright and colourful dreams, fresh hopes and undiscovered ways.” The exhilaration and celebratory spirit that Diwali brings is unmatchable. To add to the festive fervour, students of Little Flower School, displayed great talent in variety of activities like decorating lamps and making lanterns.
Teachers made the students understand the importance of ‘Saying No to Crackers’ and urged children to be sensitive to the environment by celebrating a clean and cracker free Diwali. To carry out some social responsibilities, students also participated in an initiative which was undertaken by the school to raise a helping hand for underprivileged families and migrant workers.
Students were urged to donate toys, clothes, and grains to help these families who have been most affected in this Pandemic situation. This celebration was also special because students gifted the Corona warriors who played a vital role in this situation keeping us safe from Covid since last 9 months, with cards and sweets.
The school distributed the items donated by all students to the underprivileged with proper social distancing and precautions under the guidance of school principal Mrs. Swati Kharde. Sweets were also distributed to the support staff. This year’s celebration was truly noteworthy.
