Club and Month end Activities – June
To develop the students love and respect towards the green gold and understand its value in life the eco club conducted a tree plantation programme in the nursery corner. The teacher in the beginning asked the students to speqak on the importance of trees in human life and encouraged them to plant more and more trees in the surrounding. The students were providded a practical experience of planting the trees. Each of the student shared great interest in it. They dug the soil prepared a layer of manure, dumped dry leaves and placed the saplings tenderly. Some students even watered them. The activiity enabled to know and accept students to the responsibility, work sincerely and take care of the enviornment.
Little chef club
To acquire the students with the skills of chef. The club incharge conducted the activituy “ Sandwitch making for the students of class X during the club activity .
All the students were grouped into different houses and as per the instructions given had brought the required ingrediants like bread, cheese, butter, cucumber, onion, chillies, chocolate, cherry, tomatoes etc. During the activity the house members shared their ideas and knowledgeand discussed the process of the preparation of sandwitch making. Very successfully each group prepared a variety items as baked sandwitch, chocolate sandwitch, Mia sandwitch and shared the same with other house members. Finally each group wrote the ingredients and recipe of their own. The students enjoyed the activity displaying their creativity, coordination, sharing and handelling the kitchenwares effectively. Sandwitch was a great experience.
Little Scientist’s Science club
The club incharge Mrs. Sangita shared a CD on blue planet and the natural history of the ocean in the computer hall. This was followed by a power point presentatiomn on experiments during which the students were shown and explained the working of electromotor and generator. Finally to ensure whether the students have gained the knowledge about the habitat and adaptiob of the aquactic animals and functioning of the electric devices the teacher asked several questions . Moreoveer the students were given a deadline to prepare the working models of the electric motor or generator by the end of september 2014.
Little Mathematician’s Maths Club
During the activity hr the incharge teacher Mr. Kuldharan divided the students into different groups with an objective of measury areas of different shapes. The aids- scale, tape and graph paper were brought by the students as per the instructions given. Each team was given a specific area of things like windows, doors, blackboard, handball, ground, add shapes of different leaves. The performance of each was judged with the help of the crieteria like team work participation time to management coordination and outcome. This activity enabledstudents to apply practically the knowledge gained in the class. It also helped them to clear the concept like measuring area and perimeter.
The club conducted ‘Hurdles Race’ as an adventure activity. The students had drawn two tracks & divided them into 10 boxes. The students were grouped into 4 teams. Each team had to carry a ball through the 10 boxes where the members of the oponent team stood as optacles in each box. In a strategic manner each player moved ahead crossing each box and completed first round with a point. The team that scored the highest was declared as winner. It was an enjoyable activity.

June Month End Activities
This activity was conducted for the students of class I and II. It was told to the students to bring different color clay to prepare models. Students brought colourful clay and prepared various things like rolling pins, rolling pad, gas doll, flower, snake, flower vase etc by using their artistic skills. The model of the students were judged on the basis of the crieterialike creativity, propershape and overall presentation. This activity made them realise artistic skill among themselves.
Paper Bag making
To develop the creativity among the students paper bag making activity was conducted for class III Rose and daisy. Incharge teachers divided the students into 4 groups to guide them. Each group of the activity was provided paper for paper making activity. Students showed great interest and prepared various shape paper bags by using their gained knowledge. Incharge teachers declared the winners by judging the performances on the basis of creteria like creativity, shapes and overall presentation. Students could develop their thinking and creative skills through the activity.
Movie Review activity was conducted for class IV. The moview ‘Jungle book/ was shown to them in the computer lab. After watching movie students were divided into four groups according to their houses for inter house competititon. The students of each house were asked questions based on the movie and marks were given to the correct answers. At the end of the activity coral house scored highest and declared as winner house. This activity enabled the students to develop their observation concentration and thinking skills.
Best out of waste
Best out of waste activity was conducted for the students of std V. It was told to the students to bring waste required material to prepare different things. Each student of the activity participated very enthusiasticallyand tried to show its best. They used their hidden talent and innovative ideas to prepare best items from waste material. Students prepared very beautiful things like flowers, flower vase variety of ornamental things, basket etc. articles prepared by the students were judged on the crieteria like creativity decoration and used material. It was an enjoyable activity. Students could develop their artistic skills through the activity.
Greeting Card making
To develop the creativity and artistic skill among the students greeting card making activity was conducted for class VI. It was told to the students to bring waste required material like cardsheet paper sketch pen, pencil and scale to prepare greeting cards by using innovative ideas and artistic skill. The performances of the students were judged on the basis of the crieteria like creativity, creativity decoration, message and overall presentation. Students enjoyed the activity a lot.
To give exposure to the talent of the students the talent search activity was conducted for the students of class VII. Each participant of the activity participated with great interest and tried to show its best. Students came up with different role and performed very well in front of their classmates. Incharge teacher could see hidden talent os the student and various characters like teachers, Dancers, Poets, Singers magicians etc through the activity . The performances of the student were judged on the basis of the crieteria like introduction, creativity content and confidence. The activity enabled the students to develop their thinking and confidence. Students enjoyed the activity s lot.
Flower Arrangement activity was conducted for the students of class VIII. It was told to the students to bring flowers and required material for the activity. All participants participated with great interest and arranged the flowers beautifully in flowervase and prepared bouquets of different types. Even students decorated the bouquets using their innovative ideas.
Incharge teachers declared the winners by judging the arrangement of the flowers on the basis of the crieteria like creativity, decoration and overall presentation. This activity helped to develop artist and thinking skill of the students.
Students of class IX were participated in various activities like salad making, Sandwitch making, flower arrangement, mocktail and menu card making activity. Incharge teachers divided the students into 5 groups as A B C D E as per their interest for the above activities. Students of each activity showed great interest and performed well by using their hidden talent. Each group of the activity worked with coordination and tried to show their best. Each group was judged on the basis of the crieteria like decoration, design, flavour, Taste and overall presentation. This activity enabled the students to develop their cooperation, leadership and coordination. Students enjoyed the activity a lot.
On 28th June, the school had organized Investiture Ceremony to introduce the students with democracy and democratic values inculcate among the students. The school had conducted elections on 21st June.2014 for the positions like Head boy, head girl, House Captain, Sports Caption. All the students who won the election were honored with cap, shoulders and chest
