Club Activity Report
Mask making competition was organized on 13 th Sep as a part of Art Club. Mask making is one of the most enjoyable craft that children can be engaged in. This activity was organized to explore and encourage creativity in children and offer them a platform to show their skill in mask making. It inspired the children to think and work creatively and promoted artistic excellence. Children participated earnestly in the activity.
Children came up with amazing art work in mask making. A variety of paper and plastic plate mask, head bands, eye masks etc. were made by the children and appreciated by one and all. Students enjoyed the activity.
LITTLE CHEF CLUB
Children of chef club had a great experience of making a nutritious cutlet on their own with the help of the teacher, each of them made a yummy and nutritious cutlet. The activity was conducted on 14th September 2019.Different groups of students brought different materials like bread, butter, ghee, jam, green vegetables, sprouts, coriander, carrot, cucumber, pomegranate and potatoes. Students made the nutritious cutlet using different methods like deep fry and shallow fry.
All the children learnt to share their things with each other, how to work in group and help each other in a right way. Children thoroughly enjoyed the activity and relished their cutlets too!! Every child made promise in the end to prepare it again as & THE SUNDAY BREAKFAST & for their lovely parents.
ECO CLUB REPORT
Objective: To raise personal and public awareness of environmental issues, including the benefit of reducing, re-using and recycling of materials that would otherwise be sent to landfill sites
Procedure: Today eco club students and their in-charge teacher gathered in the basement area of the school.
Firstly, student share their views on recycling, reducing and reusing. All student of eco club made different kinds of things from waste material. Some student made pen stand, flower pot, decorative piece and flowers using plastic bottles. some made pen stand, flower pot, flowers and decorative items from papers.
They shared their ideas for how to reuse, reduce & recycle plastics and papers. They learnt plastic recycling is the process of recovering scrap or waste plastic and reprocessing the material into useful things. Recycling of paper is the process by which waste paper is turned into new products and recycling of paper is better for environment, it helps preserve forests because it reduces demand for wood. They enjoyed activities and learnt how to reuse plastics, papers and other waste material because it conserves resources, generate less pollution and save environment.
To enable the students to understand the significance and usage of manuscripts, ‘Manuscripts Making Activity’ was conducted for heritage club students. In charge teacher
gave necessary instructions and guided students regarding activity. They brought the required material like coffee decoction, a white chart paper, candle, black marker pen etc. Using their knowledge and skills the students prepared several manuscripts. Students were excited to dip the white paper in coffee, dry it up and burn the edges to give it an old manuscript look. This activity helped the students to develop their creative and artistic
On 14 th Sept 2019 Mathematics club organized ‘TANGRAM’ activity with an objective to enhance student’s creativity by flipping and rotating the puzzle pieces and geometrical thinking. The students were divided into six groups and each group was provided with tan gram kit which consists of 7 pieces which fit inside a square. The in-charge teacher guided the students and the students made different patterns like animals, people, numbers, geometrical shapes etc in different rounds. This activity helps the students for their psychological and creative temperaments with Opportunities for original and practical learning.
During the activity students performed intelligently. The score of each group was reflected on the board. The in-charge teacher examined the performance of each group in the light of the parameters as Co-ordination, Accuracy and Time Management. Through this activity the life skills like critical thinking, logical thinking, spatial relationship and problem solving were observed.
ACQUAINTANCE WITH COMMON FERTILIZERS & PESTICIDES.
Science club conducted an activity ‘Acquaintance with common fertilisers & pesticides and their application with appropriate equipments’ activity with an objective to understand the use of common fertiliser and pesticides and also their application in day to day life. Students came to know the new equipment’s used nowadays for spraying of fertilisers and pesticides. Students were taken to the Audio Video Room where they were told the benefits of organic fertilisers over the chemical fertilisers and they were shown the video of new invention done in the field of spraying equipment’s of pesticides. Students were also given the information about bio pesticides used nowadays over the chemical pesticides. The students were divided into four groups. They sat together and discussed about the application of common
fertilisers and pesticides with modern equipments. They also discussed about engineering skills they can implement during their higher education. Question answer session was conducted. This activity enhanced students’ Observation skills, thinking ability, innovative ideas and engineering skills.
Little Flower School, Loni celebrated ‘Hindi Divas’ with great zealous and enthusiasm on 14 September 2019. It was an attempt to promote and propagate the use of our national language and to explore the hidden talents of the students. Student gave the speech on famous writers and poets of Hindi who bought laurels to our country. The entire day students performed Hindi language based activities such as just a minute, poetry recitation, book review, slogan writing and movie review in their classes. In charge teachers gave necessary
instructions and guided students regarding activities. The children beautifully presented all the activity through their ideas and innovations. All this was an effort to promote Hindi as a medium that unites a nation. Finally, Hindi Divas was the simplest source of expression to show acknowledgement, appreciation towards Hindi.
TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
A good teacher is like a candle, it consumes itself to light the way for the others. 5 th September marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who was a staunch believer of education and was a well known diplomat, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. A celebration was organised by the students under the guidance of Mr.Kiran sir and Mrs.Vaishali mam to express, respect and gratitude towards the teachers. The programme began with a prayer and garlanding the portrait of Dr. Radhakrishnan as per
the Indian tradition. The students welcomed and felicitated the teachers. The programme was dotted with speech and an address by the principal Mrs. Swati Kharde. The students played the teachers role which they enjoyed well. In the afternoon the students organised games for teachers dividing the teachers into four teams which were really fantastic and energetic. The teachers expressed their gratitude towards the students as a token of love and thanks. Later refreshments were served by students to the teachers. At the end Mrs.
Meena Pulate ma’am offered vote of thanks.
WORLD CHARITY DAY
The international day of charity is observed on 5 th September.The prime purpose of the international day of charity is to raise awareness and provide a common platform for charity related activities all over the world for individuals, charitable, philanthropic and volunteer organisations for their own purposes on the local,national, regional and international .Charity is important as it allows us to reach out into wider society, and help those that are in need of our support.As it is rightly said, ‘‘ One helping hand is better than thousand praying lips.’’ With the same motive in mind the teaching and non-teaching staff visited the
‘‘ADHARTIRTH ASHRAM’’ in Nashik on 5 th sep.It was decided to donate some ,clothes and eatables to the kids.There were around 40 children with a caretaker and a woman inchargeThe children were singing their morning prayers .The age group of the children were ranging from 5 yrs to 14yrs. The principal Mrs. Swati Kharde with the teachers interacted with the children.They expressed their feelings through a beautiful song dedicated to mother.After interacting with the chidren,we played many games with them and later distributed snacks and sweets to the children.On this occasion, The Principal handed over the money which was collected by the staff.It was indeed very satisfying experience for all.
VISIT TO COMMUNITY HELPER PLACES
Our school had organised field visit to 4 community helper places i.e Loni Post-Office, Police station, Civil Hospital, Hotel for the UKG on 26 th September 2019 at 09.00 am along with the class teachers. Very first time we went to post office. The children and teachers were welcomed warmly by the staff at the post office.
The postman introduced himself to the children. Students were introduced with the post box, its colour and its use. The postman told the students that the people post their letters, documents in the red box. He also gave information about stamps, envelops, postcards etc.
Further he explained how letters are collected, segregated, and stamped. concern person asked some question to the children’s and he is very happy with the answer and he distributed the chocolate’s as a token of love. Kids were very happy.
After that we move towards the police station to see the functioning of police station. Police plays an important role in the matters related low and order. The children and teachers were welcomed by the staff at the police station they given all information related to police station and their jobs. Children’s listen all the information very curiously and they asked few question to them in this our police station visit was very fruitful.
To next we went to the Civil hospital. A hospital is the home for the sick and the suffering. There we meet to Dr. Dattatray Jori he welcomed us and introduced the system of hospital and given information about different departments and how they play their role in the hospital.
The last visit which we planed according to our schedule that is hotel their we have seen the cook, so we went to hotel ‘swagat’ the manager of the hotel Mr.Jagdish Tapadiya welcomed the children’s and initially he introduced the utensils in hotel and their use. He also given information about how the actually hotel system works with software, how they manage the things. They have given demo of cooking different dishes also told about serving techniques. Our kids had shared their feelings with great excitement so our day was very fruitful.
